Training Manager - 8 Month Contract

A wonderful opportunity for a Training Manager to join a government department on one of their most successful projects.

KEY DELIVERABLES

- Develop a training strategy/plan to delivery an effective training program.
- Specify the content and structure of learning and development packages
- Take responsibility for the design, creation and packaging of training packages and manage development to deliver agreed outcomes.
- Design, configure and test learning environments including population of simulated databases and replication of external systems and interfaces.
- Manage creation/selection of relevant scenarios for training and ensure that training reflects realistic operational business conditions.
- Ensure training outcomes are documented and reported to stakeholders
- Highlight issues identified during training to business stakeholders.
- Provide specialist guidance and advice to less experienced colleagues and users to ensure that training is conducted in an appropriate manner.
- Support a team with preparing material that will assist staff in the transition of changes

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Demonstrated effective strategic planning, management and leadership skills within a high profile project with tight deadlines.
- Previous experience in designing and delivering effective training in support of significant a business change program.
- Highly developed understanding and practical application of adult education techniques and methods.
- Experience with range of delivery techniques, resources and media (which might include eLearning, virtual classrooms, self-assessment, peer-assisted learning, simulation, and other current methods), including tools and approaches to assist and provide training to people with a disability.
- Relevant Training accreditations and/or qualifications.
