One of our clients, a multinational company in the pharmaceutical industry currently requires a Training Manager

Start: ASAP
Length: 18 months
Location: South of Brussels

MISSION/FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

Inside the Business Unit Immunotherapeutics, to ensure that training iseffectively and efficiently deployed and managed so that high qualitylevel training practices are in place for existing employees as well asfor newcomers,
in compliance with the client's learning processes and cGxP/IVD requirements.

LSPOC - Learning Single Point of Contact

* Act as a driver to implement high quality level learning practices across the Business Unit
- Perform learning need analysis for all competency types necessary tomaster site business processes in compliance with cGxP/IVD requirements
- Owns the job specific curriculum process, ie the translation of the job family learning frameworks in job specific curricula corresponding to the end user needs

* Day-to-day management and coordination of learning activities
- Through the help of learning administrator(s) and learning Key Users within the company, maintain and update learning data in the learning system - act as SAP Key User
- Work closely with learning support business partners in order to provide adequate local learning resources (eg content owners, subjectmatters expert) to deliver high-quality global learning solutions

* Network of trainers/content owners
- Create/rationalize the architecture of the job specific curricula, the training portfolio and the associated trainers/content owners

* Network of Learning Single Point of Contacts (LSPOCs)
- Act as a single point of contact representing the Business Unit for VLC program, R&D Learning interface and specific meetings
- Contribute to the learning network by sharing good learning and documentation practices

* Documentation practices
- Prevent "Silo" effect between documentation and learning systems, by promoting user-friendly & pedagogically adapted documentation practices so that documents and local training packages become aneffective support to employee learning

Training Manager

* Management of training records
- Develop a user-friendly electronic archiving system of personnelrecords: curriculum vitae, job description, mission description (consultants), training history
- Maintain and update lists of personnel, signatures and organizationcharts

* Management of training Matrix
- In coordination with managers and training Key Users, rationalize and update training Matrix
- Work closely with Peoplesoft Key Users and My Learning trainingmanagers/assistants in order to coordinate the information exchange and to analyse training needs associated to POL/SOP/MAP updates,process documents creation or revision and cGxP refresh modules

* Training metrics
- Work closely with Peoplesoft Key Users and My Learning training managers/assistants in order to edit training compliance records on amonthly basis
- Analyze and summarize the training compliance data as consistent indicators

* Training activities
- Act as a single point of contact in the Business Unit for managersand personnel in the area of training activities
- Influence and collaborate with managers to implement training policies, processes and practices (on-the-job training) that positively impact bottom line business performance
- Provide support and guidance in day-to-day training operations(attendances, availability of trainers)

Onboarding activities

* Day-to-day management
- Act as a single point of contact in the Business Unit for managers and newcomers in the area of onboarding activities
- Coordinate with secretaries and support functions (eg IT, HR) inorder to solve practical details

* Onboarding follow-up
- Provide support and guidance to managers to set up adapted onboarding modules, eg duration, practical terms, preconditioning, mentorship,coaching
- Develop a network of business partners (eg content owners, subjectmatters expert) to define appropriate support in their area of expertise

* Welcome training
- Collaborate with managers and training Key Users to design training packages: general introduction and job specific modules

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation of training processes and onboarding activities.

Management of training records in compliance with cGxP/IV Drequirements.

PREREQUISITES

Education:

- Bachelor and/or master degree in relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
- Education in learning or other Human Resource sciences is an assetbut is not a must.
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical companies and GxP regulated environment is a plus.

Knowledge:

- Experience: 4 to 6 years of business experience, preferred experience in learning environment.
- Preferred business knowledge of Vaccines or life sciences industry.
- Mastering usual IT Tools.
- Knowledge of SAP as main source of information for various process isa plus.
