Training Developer

Our client is a hugely popular computer components manufacturer seeking an Instructional specialist to develop training, software demos and job aids for engineers who author content and publish complex hardware engineering documentation. Training and demos will address standard and advanced content management functions, XML/DITA authoring, and creating publications.

Responsibilities: Conduct interviews with engineers and technical writers to identify training needs and define training content. Document tasks, learn Component Content Management System, develop scenarios in the tool, and create software demos and online help to demonstrate tasks and explain processes and options.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of related work experience
- Training development expertise required
- TECHNICAL WRITING and XMetaL or Framemaker desired
- Instructional design experience
- Content management experience
- XML authoring, DITA, Adobe Captivate, Techsmith Camtasia
