Training Designer

On behalf of Hyphens FTSE 100 client based in Bristol I am looking to recruit a Training Designer for a period of 3 months.

Specific Skills
-Design and maintain the Drive (name of the new sales system) and Product Training sessions and material.
-Produce Drive and Product training material in a rapidly changing environment.
-Excellent written & presentation skills with total accuracy and attention to detail.
-Good working knowledge of MS Office packages including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
-Good organisational/prioritisation skills
-Strong experience of working in a sales focused environment
-Proven ability to positively influence performance in others
-Good Interpersonal & influencing skills and ability to communicate effectively
-Knowledge and experience of training and the different training techniques and an understanding of how to ensure learning is achieved and knowledge is retained

Key Accountabilities/Role
- To gather business requirements for processes, systems, products and services and to ensure that training material is accurately created to reflect these
- To provide accurate timescales for material creation and ensure these are met, to support delivery plans and business requirements
- To ensure material is stored adequately, centrally and is version controlled, governed and is in line with FSA and TCF regulatory requirements.
- To ensure all material is accurate and reflects the correct business processes to enable accurate skills and technical knowledge.
- To create & design material that can be utilised effectively by all relevant parties at all levels
- To look for new and innovative ways to improve training material enabling delivery to remain current, modern and to ensure retention of knowledge & skills and to achieve business objectives.
- Financial Services/Insurance background would be ideal
