Training Design & Delivery Lead Consultant - 6-Month Contract (61285)

TRAINING DESIGNwill direct the work of 8 FTEs and 8 Contract staff

TRAVEL: 20-25% - any expenses incurred for travel (transportation, hotel, meals) will be covered and reimbursed at cost

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide leadership and direction to the national instructional design and training team to ensure professional, knowledgeable, and well- rounded trainers that are able to meet the learning needs of the organization
- Act as the lead conduit for coordination of regional training, partnering with regional training leaders and teams
- Direct the design and development of our national Claims Connect training curriculum and works with regions to tailor training to the unique needs of each region
- Oversee the design, development and delivery of credentialed trainer, pilot, super user and train the trainer programs to facilitate regional delivery requirements
- Establish and manage measures/metrics to determine the progress and success of training programs that are implemented

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or related discipline OR four years of additional relevant work experience (beyond the minimum required) in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree
- Total of 10 years' experience, to include 3 or more years in a consulting role
- 5 years' experience in a health care environment or 5+ years' experience working in development or related field or equivalent training experience
- Proven leadership and management experience working on a large scale, complex national or global system and/or business process implementation program
- EXCELLENT communication skills (oral, written, presentation development)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 8+ years' professional training experience in a corporate or health care environment
- 8+ years in leadership/management role providing direct leadership to a team of instructional designers and trainers
- Extensive experience implementing training in a systems implementation context
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills design, development and delivery capability including presenting to executives
- Strong working knowledge and computer literacy in working software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Certification or advanced qualification by third party association that matches the function or field applicable to the business discipline (such as AHIP or HIAA)
