Gesuchte Skills: Lpc

Projektbeschreibung

Leigh Day is a leading claimant-only law firm specialising in the more challenging and complex aspects of Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury and Human Rights law. This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant and growing team of partners and staff who are committed to providing justice to individuals.

We are now accepting applications for Training Contracts commencing September 2014.
Leigh Day is committed to the Law Society training scheme and the provision of structured quality training placements for trainee solicitors. Leigh Day is committed to equality and diversity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. A copy of the Equality and Diversity Policy is available upon request.
Trainee Solicitors at Leigh Day do not have case loads of their own but work closely with one or more of the senior lawyers in the firm and assist with all aspects of that lawyer's work. These are busy and demanding roles and a high standard of performance is expected with the ability to deal sensitively with clients and experts. Successful applicants will have good IT skills and be effective communicators. Strong written & verbal skills are a must have together with the ability to manage tasks in an assertive, efficient and timely manner. A proven commitment to the type of work we do would be an advantage.
You will need to have completed your LPC before the start of your training contract in September 2014. Please note that Leigh Day do not contribute towards the cost of your LPC.
Candidates please note that it is a requirement of the firm that your training contract will be for the full two years (September 2014 to September 2016) and any previous experience gained elsewhere and at Leigh Day will not be considered as time to count.
