ROLE: Training and Comms Lead - FATCA

SKILLS: Training and Comms Lead - Retail Banking- FATCA - Edinburgh - 6 months - £380/day

PROGRAMME SUMMARY

The Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) is US legislation passed in 2010 to reduce tax evasion by US tax payers. FATCA is mandatory and GEC have agreed that the Bank will be compliant. Failure to comply with FATCA would result in reputational damage to the Banks as well as financial impact to the organisation and our customers. This paper provides an update on the challenges posed by FATCA and measured approach taken by the programme to ensure compliance.

CORE DUTIES OF THE ROLE:

- Insurance Training & Comms Lead
- To plan and deliver, in accordance with the Group's change management methodology, the FATCA training & communications changes for Insurance impacted colleagues and customers.
- Point of contact between the Programme Training & Customer Communications Leads and Insurance division's Business, Legal, Marketing and Communications stakeholders
- Enable and support the delivery of a Training Needs Analysis for Insurance and identify and secure key SMEs who can support the development and delivery of training material
- Support the delivery of the training plan, including logistics and training schedule roll-out
- Delivery of all terms and conditions updates, including all updates to literature. This will include all online references to terms and conditions as well as all updates to hard copies of documentation
- Accountable for mailing customers about any terms and conditions changes, utilising Insurance specific BAU methods. This includes scheduling printing and distribution of the mailings, etc
- Development of the centrally crafted customer communications to ensure they satisfy the needs of the Division, ie appropriate Divisional branding, format, signatures, etc.
- Obtaining appropriate sign-off and approval of all customer communications based on their own divisional governance and review processes and procedures

CORE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Previous experience in successfully delivering projects covering the colleague and customer side of change.
- Excellent understanding of Business change management and delivery.
- Tools - MSP 2007, Visio, MS Office Suite
- Experience in a customer communications and/or training role.
- Strong stakeholder management and issue resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Strong written and oral communications, Training and Change Management skills.
- Keyboard/Software applications, Organisational Awareness
- Experience on regulatory project delivery.
