Our client a global oil and gas giant is currently recruiting for an experienced Training Analyst.Key Accountabilities

- Logistics and Events Mgt: course details on LMS; managing cancellations; co-ordinating 3rd party trainers; liaising with Petrotech SPOC for technical support; arrange the training delivery event.
- Relationship building: work with PAs/Secretaries in various assets to assist with logistics where training is taking place at assets; co-ordinate local IT support for same.
- Demand Mgt: work with business to create a process for training demand mgt proactive vs. reactive; create a 2012 and 2013 calendar for specific subsurface training courses;
- Stakeholder management: keep business stakeholders up to date on training delivery via reports, 1:1 meetings, Steering Committee updates, etc.
- Communication: Actively start communicating to create awareness and potentially increase demand over next few years; create and maintain a communications plan and calendar; manage the training comms channels; write communications on behalf of business sponsor and create articles for E and P and other publications.
- Financial controls: Track, benchmark and report on costs; manage/review the budget on a regular basis to ensure delivery remains within limit; manage the Procure to Pay process; gain an understanding of Petrotech charges and verify costs accordingly.
- Create and manage KPIs to measure success of training delivery and take up of training courses. Analyse and interpret the information to identify areas for intervention.
- Reporting: prepare the reports for Steering committee meetings, budget, delivery, user take up, etc.
- Continuous improvement: Continuously look for ways to improve the training delivery process and areas for cost saving.
- As with rest of Change, Comms and Training team, provide holiday cover "all hands on deck"

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute

Essential:

- Evidence of ability to collaborate and build effective relationships with stakeholders
- Communications experience - written and editorial; internal and external
- Proven ability to work to deadlines and budget
- Ability to analyse and interpret measures, KPIs, and provide recommendations to improve
- Proven track record of identifying opportunities improvement
- Project Management experience or qualification preferable
- Proficiency with Microsoft products to include Project, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Desirable:

- Experience in energy industry a plus
