Trainer (Banking Operations)

Advantage Resourcing are currently recruiting on behalf of our established financial services client in Manchester for a Trainer for 6 months. The successful candidate will join an Operational Business unit and support the provision of effective and efficient training delivery across the operation. This role is essential to the achievement of the strategic goals and values of the business.

To be considered you must have experience of training/coaching and helped to identify learning needs and development gaps in order to help develop training solutions and material. Ideally this experience will have been gained within a Financial Services environment.

Responsibilities;

* Support the Training & Development Manager in working with key business stakeholders to identify learning needs and development gaps against product/system/technical and soft skills requirements
* Assist with the planning, co-ordination and scheduling of training
* Support the development of training solutions and accuracy of training materials to meet business and compliance requirements
* Help ensure Training delivery (training of technical knowledge, skills and behaviours) through direct delivery, coaching or facilitation of learning, is delivered to meet the training plan to support the needs and timescales of the Business to optimise its business performance
* Help ensure Training delivery, learning facilitation and one to one coaching is evaluated to continually demonstrate consistently high standards of delivery and effectiveness to ensure that staff, both existing and new inductees, are competent in their role
* Work with the Training & Development Manager to ensure that the latest versions of all training courses are used, kept up to date, in the prescribed format and are compliant with the latest versions of all internal and external compliance frameworks
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Business to support the communication of successes and seek feedback for continuous improvement of future learning solutions
* Completion of reports, training records, documents, training schedules, as required
* Develop self in order to maximise personal contribution to the job
