Trainer

HOT IMMEDIATE NEED!!! South Texas location for a MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTOR to facilitate training and provide hands-on instruction to lesser experienced mechanical maintenance personnel. Training for mechanical maintenance on nuclear equipment is highly desired. Will need to be able to obtain badging for unescorted access into a commercial nuclear facility. Per diem is available along with limited mobilization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for working with Managers and Training Specialists to forecast training requirements and develop overall directions and specific plans to meet those requirements in a cost effective and timely manner.
- Will assist in designing and developing training/competency programs to meet competency requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience in leading and coordinating with facility managers, the establishment of training measures and goals, and ensures alignment of those goals
- Experience with teaching the lesser experience staff and have ability to establish a good rapport with them.
- Must have extensive background in the mechanical maintenance area but does not require extensive years of training instructor experience.
- Mechanical or Technical degree is not required but would be desirable. Must have strong mechanical background.
- Vision learning station experience is required
