TRAINEE CIVIL DESIGNER - ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS

My Client is a large EPC contractor based in The Netherlands looking for a Dutch speaking Trainee Civil Designer. The projects will consists of onshore Multidisciplinary projects in the petrochemical revamp field.

Duration: 3-month contract

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands

Role: Trainee Civil Designer

Start: ASAP

Duties:

- Preparing drawing (mainly concrete, steel, roads and infrastructures)
- Supervising and coaching the Civil and Structural project team(s),
- Prepare engineering drawings using CAD
- Review project documents prior to issue for scope and presentation against project standards

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil design (Or similar)
- Experience within Oil & Gas - Petro-chemical industry
- Experience with, AutoCAD and Tekla.
- Sound understanding of international design codes
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be fluent Dutch speaker (command of English both written and spoken)
- Experience in concrete and steel
- Design and analysis experience of onshore structures
