Train Control Test Engineer

Yoh has an exciting contract opportunity for a TRAIN CONTROL TEST ENGINEER to join our client in Erie, PA.

Job Responsibilities:
- Test Engineer will to write and review test procedures as well as conduct testing for Train Control subsystems on the simulator and on the locomotive.
- Test engineer will be familiar and comfortable using test equipment just as hand tools, multi meters, etc.
- Test engineer will derive test cases from design documentation.

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a testing engineering position.
- Experience with serial and/or Ethernet communication.
- Ability and willingness to work "hands-on" in test labs and on locomotives with high HP (1000 KVA), medium voltage (2 KV) and high current (10 KA) systems.
- Test engineer should understand I/O mapping, LabView interface, as well as software variable manipulation/override.
- Familiarity with DOORS and traceability is a plus.
