A Trading Systems Test Analyst with expertise around Equities and FIX required by a global investment bank based in London.

An immediate requirement exists for an IT Test Analyst to work in the Front Office EMS/OMS space. This is a key role on a high profile project, the chosen individual will be expected to run with a program of test scenarios designed to validate a trading system front end and downstream flows. The front end will route orders using the FIX protocol.

Key Responsibilities:

-Interpret/enhance technical and/or business focussed test cases and also become familiar with the business flows being tested.
-Generate test data and run/manage results of test and too document variations & carry out the retest after fixing.
- Assist in the diagnosis of issues found and formulate solutions.
- Liaise with internal messaging & connectivity teams and interpret error logs and messages where required and also report status, progress and key issues to the PM and participate in project status meetings.

You will require the following skills/experience:

-Equity derivatives knowledge (equities, futures, options) and also knowledge of Equity/equity derivative markets.
-Front Office/Trading systems knowledge.
-Experience with FIX and FIX testing tools, FIX tags and FIX logs.
- Experience of ISV supplied OMS and EMS.
- Candidates must demonstrate impeccable communication skills and have excellent initiative, ability to work under pressure and be proactive, pragmatic and flexible.
