TRADING SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (12M CONTRACT, BANK)

Our client is a Bank with international approach located in Zurich City. The firm offers a very professional environment where you will have the chance to use your skills within an elite team.

We are looking for a contractor/consultant with strong exposure to SERVER HARDWARE AND OPERATING SYSTEMS, INFRASTRUCTURE, NETWORKING, ORACLE DATABASE, PROGRAMMING UNIX SHELLS AND PERL.

Tasks:

- Set-up and configuration of Systems
- Connectivity to Oracle Databases in close collaboration with other teams
- Maintenance of Murex infrastructure - troubleshooting environment problems and reviewing performance issues.
- Configuration and maintenance of external interfaces and Murex 3.1
- Support, modification and maintenance of batch processes

Requirements:

- Experience with HP Blade and Oracle server hardware
- Knowledge of the concepts of layers, IP and routing, TCP and connections, NAT and Firewalls
- Good Unix shells and Perl knowledge
- Good knowledge of SYSTEM- AND NETWORK CONFIGURATION EG Linux Red Hat Servers, Windows Clients
- Must have worked in Banking recently
- Experience with FX-platforms (Fenics, Frontarena, Murex) is a plus
- Very communicative and team oriented
- Fluent in English and at least conversational in German
