Senior Trading Floor Market Data Engineer/Analyst

Salary: £55-70K + Benefits + Bonus

A leading global bank is looking to hire a Trading Floor Market Data Engineer to join their Market Data Services Team based in London. The team support and engineer market data services/products across the bank and also help to drive change and improvements, getting involved in a range of projects related to monitoring, new products and roll outs etc.

Responsibilities/Experience:

* Expert knowledge of Market Data, especially related to Mainframe Reuters, eg RMDS/Kobra support/management
* Working with other vendors such as Bloomberg, technical consultancy and associated product management.
* Supporting Broker Applications and Software (there is a dedicated trade support team but having an appreciation of how the front office infrastructure slots together is important). Unix Skills/Batch Files, ITRS/Monitoring Tools all useful.
* Vendor Management and Negotiation.

Someone with a strong background working with Market Data in a Front Office environment will be ideal as they will have a good appreciation of the challenges and demands of a trading floor. Someone with experience working for a direct vendor, especially Reuters would be good as there will be product management aspects to the role.
