Trading Credit Analyst/Controller

Trading Credit Analyst/Controller urgently required for an initial 3 month contract for a global Energy Trading organisation.

You will be responsible for Conduct all credit activities as part of the underwriting/customer/counterparty on-boarding and ongoing maintenance process mainly for those businesses where the London Credit & Trade Finance team is the relationship owner of the relevant parent company including: Financial evaluation of new counterparties, and re-evaluation of existing counterparties, with respect to historic and forecast metrics and all other relevant information available to the Global Credit organisation, resulting in recommended credit terms, present the recommended credit terms to the relevant Credit Manager, or Head Credit & Trade Finance for approval. Finalisation and filing of the approved credit evaluation in a central global repository, and updating of all relevant credit management systems in line with the approved credit terms (both internal limits, including subsequent allocations. Collateral and credit security management, Credit exceeds and exposure management.

The ideal candidate will have previous Trading/Credit experience. Familiar with credit services for Trading entities. In depth understanding of distilling credit data into focussed business information, identifying areas for concern and new opportunities
