Trading Application Support (FIX Protocol)

My client, a fast growing software vendor, is looking for the latest member of their Application support team. This particular vendor is providing cutting edge technology to some of the biggest investment banks in the world and are looking to expand their team to meet the demand of some of the new clients which have been signed on recently. This will be a fantastic time to join this team as you will be a key part of this expansion. Once in this role, you will be supporting their core applications which trade Futures, Options, Equities and FX, dealing directly with their clients. Your main responsibilities will involve providing technical and front end functionality to their clients. Technically, they use a broad technical stack which covers; Windows, Solaris, Linux and FIX Protocol, so having skills in this remit will put you at the top of their interview list. In summary, the skills you need to be eligible for this role include: - Windows and Linux - FIX Protocol (They are not looking for a FIX specialist) - Trading Application support background For this role, the client will be paying circa £65k, with additional benefits and bonuses.
