Trading Application Support

This person will start as a full time senior level support engineer but will have the opportunity to move into a lead type of position down the line.

Responsibilities

* Day to day production support to the North American trading environment
* Responsible for the stability and maintenance of the production environment
* Supporting third party trading applications- CQG, TT, PATS
* Incident, problem, and change management processes
* Work closely with the business to provide IT solutions

Required Skills:

* 5+ years of production support experience in a trading environment
* Excellent communication skills- ability to speak to trading and business side
* High level database experience SQL skills (DB2 or Sybase helpful)
* High level Unix/Linux skills
* Shell scripting skills
* FIX protocol experience
* Financial experience a MUST- futures, clearing, commodities, trading industry
* Strong leadership skills and ambition to potentially move into a management role/lead type role in the future
