Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a skilled Trading Accountant
This is the Business Division where all asset optimisation and trading activities are centralised for the customer group.
They are located in multiple sites across Europe with more than 600 professionals working. They optimise and hedge the customers generation assets in order to manage risk efficiently and optimise the portfolio value. These activities are the basis for maximising profitability and ensuring continuous business growth.
The Trading Accounting team consists of 3 persons and perform the accounting and reporting for five companies. The Trading Accounting team is part of the Controlling team, where you will be working closely with the Controlling and Back Office teams. The Controlling team in total has 10 employees.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Trading Accounting and periodical closings
- General ledger accounting
- Sub ledger accounting
- Derivatives and other trading related Accounting
VAT (Swedish and International)
Trading related Cash management
- Payments
- Account statements
- Liquidity monitoring
Your profile
Economical or financial background or similar qualifications from business school
At least one year of experience from similar tasks
Knowledge about financial accounting standards
Knowledge about financial instruments in the Energy Market is an advantage
Fluent in English
Good knowledge of SAP R/3, Cognos reporting and MS Office.
As a person you are structured, performance oriented, engaged and self-driven. You have a high degree of sense of responsibility, are good in communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in teams.
