Trade Support/P & L Analyst (Middle Office)

The London based Corporate Investments & Corporate Treasury Middle Office Team is focussing on implementing Quartz, this is an integrated technology infrastructure that allows front to back processing across all LOB's for Derivative related products. We will partner with our US based Charlotte Team to cover business activities within EMEA and APAC regions. We are currently working on Phase 1, System of Record to Quartz reconciliation.

Responsibilities:
*Quartz certification of FX & Derivative books
*Reconciliation of breaks from source records to Quartz data for all Rate and Currencies trade record systems. Contributing to the design and implementation of future functionality in Quartz
*Escalation of performance issues
*Working with technology to resolve outstanding breaks and issues
*UAT of Rates Dashboard
*Daily parallel reconciliations
*Co-ordination of weekly calls
*Collation of management reporting and statistics

Requirements:

Essential
*Strong Numeracy skills
*Strong Communication skills
*Self starter that is able to deliver results
*Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines, ie Time Management skills
*Knowledge of Excel to an advanced level
*Knowledge of Word/Visio at an intermediate level
*An adaptable team player with a proactive approach to problem resolution/root-cause analysis

Desirable
*Product Knowledge (Vanilla Derivatives, FX)
*Trade Support or P&L Middle Office Line Role
*Project experience in new initiatives and system enhancements
