Trade Support Associate, Temporary

This top tier financial services organisation is looking for a dedicated Trade Support Associate to join their Trade Support Group (TSG). TSG is the conduit for post execution flow and as such you will require strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams/departments. Key to this will be the ability to respond in a timely manner to any issues preventing trade capture and its economic reflection in risk, and accurate downstream representation in the Firms books and records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversight of prompt product set up

Exercise of T0 trade capture controls
-

Lifecycle event management including Corporate Actions
-

Trade reporting and key front to back reconciliations
-

Building relationships with Operation teams, Financial Controllers and Front Office Risk Managers

Weekly and monthly reporting of Key Risk Indicators in relation to the team activities

SKILLS REQUIRED

-

Familiarity with the front-to-back life cycle of derivative products
-

Good understanding of derivatives, ideally equity derivative OTC and listed options
-

Strong organisational and time management skills
-

Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication/relationship building skills
-

Degree qualified or equivalent.

The successful candidate will be required to have a strong control focus on managing the existing processes as well as the ability to identify future enhancements to both the tactical and strategic agenda.
