Trade Floor Support Analyst | Contract | Sydney CBD

THE CLIENT:

Our client is a leading Financial Services company with offices in Sydney's CBD. They are situated close to all forms of public transport.

THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking an experienced Trade Floor Support Analyst to join their existing team. In this role you will be responsible for building and maintain existing relationships with staff. In addition to this you will be required to work with 3rd party market data and application vendors on both a local and global scale.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Work with the team collaboratively across the
- Take ownership of problems from start through to resolution
- Work with other offices and support teams to provide a consistent platform of applications
- Resolve local and international problems in a timely manner
- Log incoming problems to a global system for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Assign time to multiple tasks via a time reporting system
- Maintain "Continuation of Business" site for the business

THE REQUIREMENTS:

Our client is seeking a highly competent and professional Trade Floor Support professional. They are seeking someone with a "can do" attitude who would consider themselves to be both decisive and logical thinker.

IN ADDITION TO THIS THEY ARE SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:

- Indepth experience across all Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and standard Software (Office etc)
- Experience supporting various market data and trading applications (Bloomberg, Reuters, IRESS etc)
- Application deployment experience
- Experience with Active Directory, Outlook and Exchange
- Contributing to and updating technical databases/wiki's etc.

THIS IS A CONTRACT ROLE WITH A DISTINCT POSSIBILITY OF MULTIPLE EXTENSIONS FOR THE RIGHT INDIVIDUAL. RATE IS COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE.
