Trade Floor Desktop Support Lead - Contract

Using your extensive background as a team lead and in-depth knowledge of desktop/end user computing, particularly within a Front Office environment you will gain an opportunity to work in a central CBD location, whilst also gaining valuable exposure to industry leading technology teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide hands on support and team management to the EUC environment across Asia
- Manage team members (approx. 10) to drive best practice across the support activities
- Drive service delivery standards across Asia
- Maintain documentation and identify opportunities to improve this where necessary
- Assume the role key point of contact for escalation of issues
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of working experience within a financial services environment
- Significant hands on experience in supporting desktop/end user computing issues within a Front Office, financial services environment
- Solid understanding of desktop technologies including VDI, voice and networking technologies and applications/operating systems such as Windows7, MS Outlook, Active Directory, BES
- Additional experience with market data systems would be well regarded
- A creative and dynamic approach to problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- A significant proven track record in delivering support within a very high pressured financial markets environment
