Trade Finance Operations Documentation Analyst

* Verification (checking) of documents presented under Documentary Credits (Import & Export) Advised and or Issued Letters of Credit according to the relevant ICC publications (UCP600), International Standard Banking Practice and Anti-Money Laundering Regulatory Reporting.
* Input and/or validation of document examination discrepancy notifications to the presenting/nominated banks utilizing the various operating systems ensuring adherence to applicable deadlines
* Prepare, validate and disseminate document discrepancy notification reporting to the applicable customers (internal & external) as the means to facilitate the resolution of discrepancies using the various operating systems in accordance with defined customer specifications and department guidelines.
* Processing of Documentary Collections (Import & Export) according to the relevant ICC Uniform Rules for Collections (URC522).
* Be aware of and comply with all internal procedures and external regulatory/legal regulations or guidelines, Anti-Money laundering and boycott language for USA.

Technical competencies

* Experience in verification of documents applying ICC rules such as Customs and Practices for Documentary Credits (UCP 600) and International Standard Banking Practice for the Examination of Documents under Documentary Credits and familiarity with Uniform Commercial Code Article 5.
* Working knowledge of AML, OFAC Compliance regulations
* Experience in processing Documentary Letters of Credits, as issuing and or advising bank
* Experience in the processing/handling of Documentary Collections
