Trade Data Quality Analyst

AGS on behalf of RBS represents contract and temporary opportunities for RBS M

- The management and resolution of exceptions generated by the business quality rules in the Operational Data Cache.
- Carrying out key controls including some reconciliations
- The BEP (Business Event Pool) Error Process on behalf of Finance Ledger Control
- Tracking exception trends, undertaking analysis and driving a continuous process improvement methodology to reduce instances of data quality breaks
- Definition of new TDE processes, the associated operating model and control framework

The tasks below are intended to provide guidance/an indication of the role's responsibilities rather than being a comprehensive list.

- The clearing of trade data quality exceptions in the ODC
- Liaising with data owners to identify the solution to the exception
- Reconciliations
- MI reporting for KPI's and risk management
- MI reporting for trend analysis

Previous exception management and Root cause analysis

- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to communicate to seniors and peers effectively and efficiently
- Able to work in effectively a team environment and independently manage own workload
- Strong previous experience and knowledge of an operational environment with tight deadlines
- High attention to detail
- A control mindset
- Experience in Data Management
- Experience of performing root cause and trend analysis
- A knowledge of security products and derivatives
