Leading global bank seeks to attract a Trade Control Manager with previous experience gained within banking environment to join London based team.

The Trade Control Manager will be responsible for reviewing daily trade flow emanating from the trading desk and ensuring that the appropriate approvals are sought, reviewing exceptions, seeking credit approvals and liaising with support functions to ensure the business operates within limits.

Responsibilities
*Review trade approval applications from the trading desk
*Review control reports, highlight issues, exceptions or trends and take action with the appropriate functions to resolve
*Drive improvements in the trade approval, cancel amend process and lead the enhancement of cancel amend reporting for the desk.
*Coordinate and own the process for setting up new clients and brokers in the trading systems in addition to applying for credit increases
*Ensure control of the Front to Back process for the business is maintained to mitigate operational risk and improve efficiency within the business

Requirements:
*Sound knowledge of operational risk and control issues which will potentially impact the business
*Extensive knowledge of equity products
*Highly self motivated and independent individual
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to build and maintain relationships with various support functions and traders
