Track Section Engineer

Our client is looking for a Track Section Engineer to join their team in Nottingham on an initial 3 month contract to assist the Track Construction Engineer in the delivery of concrete and ballasted tracks.

Educational Requirements:
*Minimum HND/BEng (Hons) in Construction or Civil Engineering from recognise university

Desired Knowledge/Experience:
*Slab or Ballast Track construction (essential)
*At least 5 years' experience on site (essential)
*Driving license (essential)
*Up to date knowledge of paving (desirable)

Technical Skills & Competencies:
*Knowledge of quality codes & standards
*Appreciation of track design, geometrical elements, track configurations.
*Knowledge of track construction methodology: slab or ballasted.
*Speak, read and write English in clear concise manner
*Ability to produce temporary works brief and design and act as Temporary Works Coordinator
