Track Installation Manager

Our client is a transportation solutions company and is looking for a TRACK INSTALLATION MANAGER to manage a RAILWAY PROJECT in the Netherlands. The TRACK INSTALLATION MANAGER will work in the Amsterdam area for at least 12 months.

Scope of work:

- Coordinate the TRACK INSTALLATION and take care that all necessary information (eg installation design and hardware) is available in time.
- Coordinate the supervision of the TRACK SITE INSTALLATION by managing the supervisors who monitor the execution of the work.
- Assess deviation and propose sophisticated solutions which prevent delays of the execution of the work and increasing of the costs.

Based upon project strategy, the on-shore Track Installation Manager should perimeter within TIS:
* Pro-actively manage internal interfaces with Installation Design, Hardware Logistic Manager, PrID, Test and Commisioning and external technicinterfaces with partners and third parties.
* Assist procurement (Focus on Installation)
* Prepare and manage installation works on field (installation, warehouse) including installation supplier.
Ensure EHS on field with guidance and support from the project team member in charge of Project EHS coordination.
* Manage installation activities
* Warehouse & logistic management
* Report to PrIM on installation progress
* Ensure EHS policy
* Support to variation order process

Requirements:

* Master with technical knowledge
* Experience in preparation of work for installation crews.
* Technical skills in electricity and mechanics (mechanical assembly).
* Knowledge in relationship with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
* Experience in A RAIL OR METRO LINE ENVIRONMENT.
* Experience in Signalling and Telecom equipment installation and Testing & Commissioning is an asset.
* Fluent Dutch speaking.
