Tooling Engineer Job

TOOL ENGINEER is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in CHULA VISTA, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- We are looking for a Tool Designer with a degree, over ten (10) years' experience and is proficient in CATIA V5.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- We do not prefer 'professional shoppers' (those that have a huge resume of one to three (1-3) year positions and have done many things and continually travel across the US).
- We are interested in an energetic person who is from the area, would like to stay in the area and has a resume of work experience at one or two or three places with solid years. This is important to us.
- To creatively and economically design production aerospace tooling working in a Catia V5 environment.
- To design tooling working to engineering drawings, specifications and 3D models, in support of required program schedule expectations

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Ten (10+) Years of Aerospace Tool Design.
- Must possess a very good understanding of assembly build sequencing and tolerancing.
- Must have a solid background in aerospace tool design as well as stress analysis.
- Must be familiar with both aerospace bond tooling and aerospace assembly tooling.
- This is a six (6) month contract, paying between $56 - $59 per hour.
