Tooling Engineer - Essex - 12 Months

An automotive client based in Essex is looking for a Tooling Engineer. This will be for an initial 12 month contract.

Role:
Plastic Injection Mould Tools to support all PD Electronics programs design.

Skills:
Proven Knowledge and experience in tool making and/or tool design with respect to plastic injection mould tools
Knowledge of plastic injection mould processing and plastic materials
Ability to lead tool reviews - coordinating global teams, including PD, Visteon manufacturing plants and tooling suppliers
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Availability to travel globally as required to support tooling reviews, tool trials etc.
Ability to be assertive within a team orientated environment
A pro-active driven person with a 'drive' for results approach
Knowledge of rapid prototyping
Understanding of CAE tools and practices, specifically mould flow analysis
Familiarity with CAD would be an advantage
Experience of automotive products, specifically electronics related would be an advantage
IT/MS Office literate
Ability to operate in a team environment
