Tooling Design Engineer

My client, following an extremely successful 2014, is currently expanding their team based in Swindon.

I am seeking 2 contract based Tooling Design Engineers to work on a 3 month rolling contract.

Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate skills & knowledge in the following areas:

Experience
- Tooling and equipment design.
- Special purpose machines.
- Mechanical design, detailing, assembly drawing, bill of materials and geometrical tolerancing.
- Design of machined and fabricated components.
- Creation of sequence charts and pneumatic diagrams.
- Catia V5 solid modelling.
- Awareness of project control via schedules, cost tracking and manpower allocation.
- Awareness of hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical control systems.
- Demonstrate experience of problem solving and implementation of successful countermeasures.

The successful candidate MUST be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within an automotive environment (ideally OEM) and work with Catia.
