Our high profile client is looking for a Program Manager to join their TMO office.

The Transformation Management Office (TMO) helps OB deliver its strategic business outcomes by leading, prioritising and managing all the necessary cross-functional resources, knowledge and skills to drive change and deliver value to our customers.

They apply thought leadership that focuses on the following key areas:

Strategic translation & executing planning - translating strategic plans into actionable initiatives to deliver tangible business outcomes.
Business Consultancy - a discrete offering which provides a holistic assessment and elaboration of Business Critical items prior to initiative execution.
Initiative delivery - ensuring the end-to-end cross functional delivery of OB strategic initiatives Organisational Change Management - designing & implementing the required cross functional People, Process & Technology changes to support the OB's strategic objectives.

The role works collaboratively across the business to successfully deliver the required strategic outcomes for OB.

Key functions of the Program Manager TMO role:

Challenge:
Drive the broader team (incl. Business Sponsor & Owner) to deliver aggressive targets in time to market, cost, specification and quality.

Catalyse:
Focus on getting the programs moving by driving establishment of core teams, specification of scope and high level plans and definition of resource requirements.

Consult:

(Process)
Provide guidance to the Business Sponsors/Owners or others in the team o the processes involved in the development of their initiatives.

Consult:

(Solution)
Provide guidance to the Business Sponsors/Owners or others in the teams on the requirements of the solution to be delivered as part of the initiatives.

Consult:

(Acceptance)
Provide guidance to the Business Sponsors/Owners or others in the teams on the processes required to gain organisational acceptance of the initiatives' solution. This may range from high-level guidance but may extend to development of detailed impact assessments.

Anticipate:
Constantly review the internal environment to understand how the program is progressing against its objectives and how existing or potential events may impact progress. Call-out to Business Sponsors/Owners if anything has the potential to impact the success of the initiative & suggest action. Ensure initiative risks, issues, finances and quality are effectively managed.

Accountable:
To the business owners and sponsors for the successful delivery of programs to agreed outcomes.

Management:
Overall program management of relative initiatives.

Change:
Ensure that any impacts to the business are managed through change by employing standardised change management approaches.

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:
Relevant degree and/or experience in Program Management and Business Administration
10+ years experience in Telecommunications IT, and/or Management consultancy experience
