IJOB TITLE: TIVOLI STORAGE MANAGER

LOCATION: ZURICH, SWITZERLAND

DURATION: 6MONTHS + CONTRACT

START DATE: IMMEDIATE

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Experienced TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) System Administrator with experience on AIX and Unix platforms, Good knowledge on backup hardware (IBM TS3310 and IBM tape libraries), Good knowledge on EMC VTL ( virtual tape Library ), ITIL process

Preferable Technical Skills:  
Unix platforms with VMWare Knowledge

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- TSM server and client installation
- Hands on experience with TSM 5.x and 6.x
- IBM Tivoli Storage manager software
- Daily TSM operations which will include restoration, backups, new client additions and missed/failed report generation
- Assist team with system build documentation, which will include hardware inventory at data centers
- TSM DR Configuration, documentation and testing
- Assist team with fiber and CAT6 cabling and labeling
- Coordinate with clients on tape deliveries and library organization
- Migration, support and management on distributed SAN environments
- Incident management, Release management, Change management, Problem management as per ITIL framework
- Bachelor of engineering  with 5 years of strong skills in Tivoli Storage Management and Unix admin in a large scale enterprise
