Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Server Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individual will be augmenting our in-house IT storage staff to manage our in-house Enterprise IBM-TSM and Semantec-NetBackup backup and restore environment.

SKILLS
REQUIRED:
(1) At least 48 months working Experience installing, configuring and managing TSM server, client and data protection agent software.
(2) At least 24 months working Experience installing configuring and managing Netbackup server and client.

PREFERRED:
(1) Experience with LANFREE TSM configuration.
(2) Experience/working knowledge of EMC Data Domain device configuration and operation.
(3) Experience with Data Center consolidation and data migration.
(4) Strong working knowledge and experience on UNIX (AIX/Linux/Solaris/HPUX), VMWARE, Windows (2003, 2008) and Linux RHEL3 operating systems.
(5) Proficient skills in writing technical documentation on storage infrastructure for daily operations.
(6) Strong knowledge on Data center SAN/Network technologies.
(7) Experience with multi site data replication.
(8) Experience/working knowledge of IBM 3584 tape libraries.
(9) Experience in ITSM change management model.
(10) Ability to work with a regional, multi-site cross functional team of employees and service providers.
