Tivoli Storage Manager Administration Consultant

 I am currently looking for an experienced TSM (TIVOLI STORAGE MANAGER) ADMINISTRATION consultant to work on a one year contract for a market leading client of mine in JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA. 

JOB REQUIREMENT - An experienced resource to assist with the IMPLEMENTATION, TESTING AND DOCUMENTATION OF TIVOLI STORAGE MANAGER ENVIRONMENTS across 10 African countries.

TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

Implementation of existing TSM architecture
Installation of TSM software
Implementation, configuraton and maintenance of TSM instances
Implementation, configuraton and maintenance of TSM clients
Implementation, configuraton and maintenance of backup standards
Implementation, configuraton and maintenance of Data Domain VTLs
Implementation, configuraton and maintenance of Tape Libraries
Decommissioning and auditing of TSM instances
Decommissioning of tape libraries (physical or virtual)
Migration and auditing of TSM instances and/or clients
Upgrade of TSM instances and/or clients (V5 to V6)
Testing of TSM including all backups
Hand-over of environment to support team

AIX
AIX HA/HACMP
TCP/IP, NFS, NIS and DNS TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager)
AIX 6
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
