ROLE: TIVOLI STORAGE ADMIN

LOCATION: BOULDER, CO

DURATION: 6 MONTHS +

1. Demonstrate working knowledge of IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center 4.2 and above
2. Must be able to demonstrate basic troubleshooting of IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center 4.2 and above. Be able to identify the directory and appropriate logs files to troubleshoot TPC.
3. Demonstrate knowledge on how to install/deploy, monitor and use Tivoli Storage Productivity Center (TPC) to accomplish critical storage management tasks.
4. Demonstrate general understanding of storage subsystems and storage system concepts.
5. Demonstrate general working knowledge of supported operating system.
6. System administration skills, including working knowledge of account
management.
8. Demonstrate general understanding of networking, TCP/IP Protocols, remote server connection, SNMP, and server connectivity.
9. Demonstrate Working knowledge of storage hardware technologies (NAS, DAS, and SAN)
10. Demonstrate Working knowledge of distributed server technologies
11. Must have basic skills for DB2 and supported RDMS databases
12. Great desire to work and learn new technologies
