ABOUT THE PROJECT
GTN Technical Staffing has an urgent need for a strong Tier I Desktop Support
opportunity in Denver, CO.  Our client is feeling a deep sense of urgency and will begin conducting technical phone screens ASAP.  

JOB SUMMARY

- The Desktop Technician is Tier 1 level support for internal and remote customers and performs as an escalation point for other ITO teams.  
- Administers the assembly and troubleshooting of desktop hardware and software, mobile devices, endpoint security, audio/visual and telecommunications for all Epsilon locations local and remote.
- Directly support the business by contributing in the areas of Desktop systems support and the first line of customer contact for the Information Technology Operations organization, escalating to next Tier if appropriate.
- Prepares documentation required to support job assignments.
- Will adhere to established change process for Desktop Systems.
- Desktop Technician will be responsible for documenting all incidents in the ticketing system and for follow up of existing open ones according to our published Service Level Agreements.
- Research and complete additional projects as they are assigned by the Desktop Support management.

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience in a customer focused Helpdesk fast paced environment
- Experienced in hardware support and current in latest desktop hardware technology
- Experience in hardware support - Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Cisco VOIP (or equivalent) Phones, and PDA's/Smart Phones.
- Experienced in software technology support and current with latest software releases
- Experience in software support for end users, including but not limited to Operating systems, Office Suite and Endpoint Security applications, etc.
- Some project management skills
