Tibco Spotfire Specialist - Major Blue Chip - Antwerp Region
Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of Tibco Spotfire experience, (creating sophisticated visualizations, calculated columns, custom expressions etc)
- Minimum 5 years of database and SQL experience
- Good customer facing skills, is able to understand business issues quickly and translate these into solutions on the Spotfire platform
- Experience with extracting and combining different data sources, different databases and data warehouses
Preferences and priorities:
1) Tibco Spotfire skills and experience
3) SQL and data warehousing skills
- Accepts personal responsibility for client satisfaction
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations and quality plan
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
Methodology/Certification requirements
- Master and/or Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or Bioinformatics OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
- Additional certification is a plus
The Spotfire Specialist is the linking pin between the business requirements for data and how to analyze the data on one side and the information in databases and data warehouses on the other side. Where the reporting tools are limited in functionality the reporting specialist need to be able to develop data base warehousing representations to overcome these limitations
The Spotfire Specialist has deep knowledge of Spotfire and SQL (Oracle) to preprocess data or optimize performance. Analytical and creative, performs well under stress and is able to multitask.
