JOB DESCRIPTION

In the scope of the expansion of TIBCO Spotfire related capabilities within our organization, we are currently looking for a Project Leader with TIBCO Spotfire Experience. In this role, the mission of the successful candidate will be to:

- Interact with functional and business stakeholders to capture the user requirements in terms of self-service data analysis through the Spotfire platform
- Lead prioritized projects from inception to execution, which requires the discipline to create clear and attainable objectives and to see them through to successful completion.
- Drive the oonfiguration and administration of the TIBCO Spotfire platform in line with the agreed technical architecture .

WHAT YOU"LL DO:

In this role, the successful candidate will primarily be involved in the following tasks: 

- Engaging with functional and business stakeholders to capture and understand their TIBCO Spotfire related reporting needs and document the associated requirements 
- Creating project plans and maintaining project objectives where best technical approach for addressing these needs through TIBCO Spotfire are put in place. 
- Ensuring (both informally and formally) that the system meets user requirements before deployment in production environment. 
- Implementing change practices to ensure the maintainability of the system over time 
- Identifying and resolving issues and risks

PROFILE

- Demonstrates competency in project management methods and softwares
- Excellent organization skills and ability to operate effectively in a multicultural, Matrix organization where the workload requires balancing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Establishes and maintains cross functional relationships; develops relationships across organizational boundaries
- Knowledge of the technical architecture of the TIBCO Spotfire platform is a plus
- Knowledge of the pharmaoeutical environment is an asset.

Fluent in English and good knowledge in French is an asset.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Follows and applies project management methodologies, tools and practices Sucoessful experienoe in project and people management including TIBCO Spotfire related analysis design and solution deployment .
- Analytical, logical thought process with strong information organization and management skills .
- Strong interpersonal, influencing skills and negotiation skills .
- Strong written and oral communications skills (both technical and non-technical) .
- Experience with the technical integration of TIBCO Spotire with external data souroes like the ones listed below is an asset:

Oracle databases
SAP BW/SAP HANA
Hadoop clusters (eg Hive, Impala)
PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience in the configuration andlor administration of the TIBCO Spotfire platform is a plus Abilities.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects, to prioritize tasks and to meet strict deadlines.
- Effective time management ability to clearty identify prionities and manage multiple tasks.
