Tibco Quality Analyst Lead

OPPORTUNITY:

Do you have TIBCO quality experience? If so, we have the perfect contract job for you! Our client is searching for a TIBCO Quality Analyst Lead to support a six month contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Improve the quality of software produced for the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) programs.
- Work with QA manager and project team to define the individual project testing plans.
- Coordinate the work of the testing teams following company guidelines, best practices and utilizing accepted tools.
- Focus on Quality Assurance Testing Enterprise wide.
- Focus on Quality Assurance Testing of SOA applications.
- Understand and translate requirements to test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform System Integration, Regression, and provide support for User Acceptance testing.
- Perform defect management.
- Assist in setting the testing strategies and objectives for the project.
- Utilize testing tools like HP ALM Quality Centre which speed up Test Planning, Execution, Defect Management and Reporting.
- Summarize outcome of testing and review results with Test lead and Project team.
- Deliver the use of Traceability Matrix.

REQUIREMENTS:

- BA/BS in Computer Science or a related degree  Minimum of 7 years IT experience with Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Quality Assurance certification preferred.
- Financial domain knowledge preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with HP Quality Center or similar QA suite.
- Expertise in SOA web service testing Demonstrated experience or knowledge of performing quality assurance for Web Services.
- Prior experience with data access tools such as SQL or data profiling tools.
- Prior technical experience with platforms such as HP NonStop (Tandem), IBM Mainframe is a plus.
- Experience in testing online web applications. Experienced in test data analysis and identification.
- Knowledge of manual testing concepts and software life cycle process required.
