Tibco MDM Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a TIBCO MDM DEVELOPER to join our client in Plano, TX.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with MDM (Master Data Management) personnel, Business Intelligence developers, and data custodians to develop MDM requirements.
- Translate business and data requirements into MDM requirements and develop and execute routines to move data into and out of the MDM solution from a variety of sources, including other databases, flat files, and ISAM files.
- Implement and maintain commercial MDM application(s) and integrate into the MDM environment.
- Set up and maintain MDM workflows within the tool and integrate into the MDM environment.
- Work with database administrators to ensure available resources, both target and source systems.
- Coordinate and execute daily updates of MDM system and independently resolve loading and extraction problems.
- Communicate statuses with MDM and Business Intelligence teams and assist in resolving data-related problems.
- Develop, implement, and execute a quality assurance program and quality control standards for all MDM activities.
- Educate and advise application technologists and business partners on the use of MDM tools and processes.
- Document all MDM processes and activities, and communicate to MDM stakeholders.
- Contribute to the overall design and implementation of the MDM system and assist in other MDM activities as needed. Participate in all MDM planning and execution.
- Identify and evaluate multiple MDM implementation alternatives, and analytically arrive at "best practices."

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Master's degree is a plus.
- At least three (3+) years of experience using TIBCO BW, ADB Adapter, File Adapter.
- At least three (3) years' experience in Linux or UNIX environments. Knowledge of Shell Scripting is a plus.
- Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills on J2EE platform using Weblogic or WebSphere Application Server infrastructure. Expect a balanced skill set in developing UI components using JSP, HTML and application logic using Java.
- Experience with JMS, Web Services, WSDL, XML/XSD, SOAP/HTTP.
- Demonstrated experience and competency in Oracle SQL,PL/SQL,TOAD.
- At least one to two (1-2) years' experience in design and configuration of master data management or customer data hub systems. TIBCO CIM preferred.
- In depth knowledge and experience in varying aspects of MDM - Data Profiling, ETL, Data Quality, Match, Merge, Hierarchy Manager and administration.
- Must be organized with strong interpersonal skills and comfortable with a projects-oriented environment.
- Strong critical thinking skills, including systems and business analysis, problem analysis and resolution, good judgment and decision making ability.
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
