TIBCO EMS (INFRASTRUCTURE)

TIBCO EMS (Infrastructure) consultant is needed for a long-term project in the lovely Amsterdam, Netherlands. You will have a passion for IT Infrastructure and positive can-do mind-set with a broad and diverse set of competencies that allow you to operate, maintain and test the standardized and highly automated infrastructure services that allow you to automate as much of the operating and maintenance work as possible.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

- Maintain full infrastructure service to the consumer like:
- Maintain consumable standardized infrastructure services (resilient, high quality, highly automated and up-to-date)
- Automate all repetitive or error-prone operational activities
- Support and educate consumers on using the standardized infrastructure
- Apply continuous delivery practices like:
- Manage all resources in version-controlled repositories (incl. code, scripts, configurations, artefacts, static resources)
- Refactor and reuse existing code/modules/functionality
- Write fully automated tests (eg, high availability, load testing, disaster recovery)
- Build, enhance and maintain tooling and scripts to automate repetitive or error prone tasks, (eg to automate configuration management and to ensure consistency)
- Apply and improve DevOps way of working like:
- Implement user stories from backlog as agreed with the Product Owner
- Participate rigorously in DevOps rituals (eg daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospective, peer reviews)
- Continuously improve yourself, your team and the service

YOU SHOULD RECOGNIZE YOURSELF IN THIS PROFILE:

- Professional and intellectual IT ability at university level - at least Bachelor's degree
- You have an extensive understanding of the full stack, tooling ecosystem, and consumer requirements. With your expertise in multiple coding/Scripting languages and tooling, you contribute to the mission of delivering high-quality consumable services.

FURTHERMORE YOU HAVE:

- Experience with operational activities of TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS), TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) and TIBCO Business Process Management (BPM) combined with Red Hat Linux
- Experience with operational activities of TIBCO Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI)
- Experience with operational activities of Oracle databases
- Experience in Red Hat Linux, Jenkins and GIT
- Working knowledge of configuration tools like Puppet, Chef or Ansible
- Scripting experience in at least one of the following: Ruby, Python, Bash.
- Experience with virtualization environments and tools
- Excellent command of spoken and written Dutch and English
