Tibco Developer - EAI/BPM/CEP and SOA

ROLE SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role is of a TIBCO Developer. This role would responsible for the delivery of the ESB and workflow components as part of a large IT platform services delivery program. The integration and workflow form a critical part of the proposed IT platform being envisaged for the client, hence this role will play a crucial part in:

- Supporting the client to achieve their goals
- Design and build the integration components required while meeting performance, availability, and scalability requirements

Some of the core responsibilities would include:

- Understand and digest the business and IT requirements for the TIBCO stack
- Understand and digest the high level architecture
- Understand the Software Architecture Document that describes the application's components and their interfaces within and outside of the software system, including clear specifications of functional and non-functional requirements for the solution
- Development of services so that they meet the expected behaviour in terms of performance, service levels etc.
- Incorporate existing components and services into the design
- Understand how the functionality of the system will be distributed across physical nodes
- Construct and assess architectural proof-of-concepts
- Understand the structure in which the implementation will reside
- Work within the development team, understand detailed designs, and drive the implementation towards the architectural vision
- Help define architectural patterns, key mechanisms, and modelling conventions for software development
- Hands on development, testing and deployment experience

COMPETENCIES

- Client interfacing and communication skills; effective communication across the board
- Developing high level design, developing design specifications and mapping specifications
- Performing review of Low level design specifications as well as providing review report
- Providing clarifications on design and requirement related questions to the offshore team
- Communicate with offshore team for the design/development/delivery activities
- Develop unit test cases
- Perform code development and unit testing
- Perform peer-review of code
- Provide review reports and unit test case results
- Support Integration testing & UAT and provide fixes for the defects opened
- Provide status and progress updates to the Technical Manager and the Program manager
- Communicate with onshore/offshore designers for the requirement/design related queries
- Certification on 1 or more TIBCO products (preferable)

Knowledge on one or more of the technologies outlined below:

- TIBCO BusinessWorks
- TIBCO ActiveMatrix Service Grid
- TIBCO Enterprise Messaging Service (EMS)

In addition, knowledge of the following products is preferred:

a) TIBCO Rendezvous

b) TIBCO Hawk

c) TIBCO Business Connect

d) TIBCO AMX BPM
