TIBCO CONSULTANT

A Tibco Consultant is urgently required for a long-term, lucrative contract position with a major Financial Services client in Amsterdam.

The Tibco Consultant will work in a team responsible for the delivery of end-to-end application chains, and will be focused on the continuous improvement of products and processes.

The Tibco Consultant will ideally have 65% of the following skills and experience:

- Strong experience in TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO BPM and TIBCO Hawk, and accustomed to working in an international context of commercial banking.
- Proven track record in translating application integration demands to Tibco interface and data translation specifications and working software.
- Thorough understanding of Financial Markets business.
- Thorough understanding of ESB and SOA principles, and able to apply these principles for specifications and explain them to your stakeholders.
- Detailed knowledge of XML/XSD/XSLT standards and understand TIBCO Business Works.

The Tibco Consultant will:

- Continuously learn and take full ownership of personal development, be curious to understand the latest developments in the technical and financial services.
- Teach, coach and train colleagues, sharing knowledge.
- Good understanding of banking in general or passionate about learning it. You are able to discuss with your stakeholders and product owner about features and stories and can translate these into software with real business value.
- Broad understanding of IT architecture of the domain, as well as excellent analytical skills
- Awareness of the client architecture principles and standards and ability to translate these principles into concrete actions for the team.
- Certifications and/or proven proficiency in one or more programming languages
- CSD (Certified Scrum Developer/Engineer) is a 'nice to have'
- Work experience in an Agile organization and a proven Agile mindset and behaviour.
- Excellent spoken and written command of English, Dutch speakers strongly preferred.
