TIBCO BE Architect

Primary Responsibilities Technical Architecture

§ Own Technical Architecture design across all of the programme to ensure new services are deployed in a manner that ensures adoption of the relevant technical strategy, designs, standards and tools.
§ Act as the point of contact between the programme and the client's infrastructure partner
§ Act as the point of contact between the programme and the client for the technical architecture design
§ Work closely with the architecture team within the programme to ensure consistency within the overall design
§ Work closely with development teams to ensure consistency against the technical architecture design
§ Work closely with the Security Architect to ensure consistency against the Security architecture design
§ Own Security Architecture documentation to support Solution Governance and Quality Gating processes

Necessary Experience Technical Architecture

At least 10 years' experience of owning and delivering complex technical architecture designs for highly available and highly performance solutions
Experience of developing technical architectures for solutions based on the following areas
Complex Event Processing (MUST HAVE THIS)
Business Rules Engines
J2EE Applications
Highly scalable architectures
Highly available architectures
High performance architectures
Virtualised environments
Use of Open Source technologies
Use of scalable database technologies

Skills & Qualities Qualification:
Degree or equivalent education.

Experience, or certification, of TOGAF is desirable Technical Architecture

§ Familiar with integration and implementation issues and their technical architecture implications.

§ Understanding of technical architectural principles and standards.

§ Knowledgeable about existing best practices for technical architecture § Explored and evaluated technical architecture considerations for multiple technologies.

§ Experience of working in multi IT partner and outsource environments General

§ Technical & Professional Expertise - ability to make effective and appropriate use of functional knowledge and technical skills

§ Strong analytical and problem solving skills

§ Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate appropriate, concise and accurate information.

§ Good interpersonal skills
