TIBCO ARCHITECT - TBCO BW 5/6 - DEVOPS (JENKINS/DOCKER)

You will work on a strategic program for our main customer, in order to design a new service-oriented architecture to replace the current data management system.

The Solution Architect designs a highly-available, robust and performant solution architecture for a safety critical domain. He/She proactively seek out inefficiencies and weaknesses in system design to pre-empt and avert future issues. Your mission

- You take advantage of your skills and knowledge in Service Oriented Architectures to derive patterns which fit the business requirements
- You leverage the investment made by the company on Integration platform (TIBCO ESB) to rationalize the exchange between applications and services
- You collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that the IT strategic investment aligns with the business strategy and drives operating results
- You have a profound software development background (deep experience and proficiency writing code) to collaborate with developers on solution
- You work both independently for detailed design and collaboratively with an Architecture Committee for the overall system architecture
- You provide assistance to more junior designers on TIBCO BusinessWorks and TIBCO EMS
- You handle projects with multiple and competing priorities. You analyse enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) to derive IT strategy and architecture
- You write technical specifications such as: design documents at different levels (Solution Architecture Document, Service Description Document). You present complex ideas to large groups and communicate effectively with non-technical business partners
- Proficiency in English and French Your Qualifications
- You have a minimum of 5 years' of experience in successfully leading and implementing IT design in a service oriented architecture using TIBCO technologies
- You have demonstrated your ability and agility to quickly adapt to rapidly evolving and changing business priorities
- You have a broad understanding and technical knowledge of IT solutions and technologies across all areas of IT
- You have a direct experience with high performance, transaction-based complex systems
- You have extensive experience in organizations with a mixed technology portfolio of core/Legacy systems and newer technologies
- You have a very strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a capability to explain, train and convince stakeholders with different profiles
- You have demonstrated your ability to evolve in a politically complex organisation Preferred Technical Skills
- Prior experience in TIBCO BusinessWorks (ideally version 6) and TIBCO EMS
- Familiarity with DevOps approach and technologies (Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, etc )
- Proven expertise in Java/J2EE, .NET design, and/or comparable development technologies
- Hands on experience in SOAP, REST, JMS and both XML and JSON format
- Thorough understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and No-SQL databases (ideally Elasticsearch, Event Store) but also In-Memory Data Grid (TIBCO Active Spaces, Hazelcast, Redis)
- Sound knowledge of Java technologies including Spring and Spring Boot
- General understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate
- Exposure to Virtualization-based Solutions (VMWare) and container principles (Docker) including orchestrators (Kubernetes, Rancher/Cattle, Docker Swarm)
