You are an energetic Ops Engineer with a passion for IT Infrastructure and positive can-do mind-set.
You are a team player working as a core member of a multidisciplinary and cross-functional squad with end-to-end responsibility for selected infrastructure services.
Close collaboration within and across the squads and with the consumer is of utmost importance for you.
You are responsible for the availability of the service of your squad, you identify and analyse problems and takes the lead in solving incidents, collaborating with your squad's Dev Engineers.
You continuously strive to improve yourself and your colleagues in the DEVOPS way of working.
You have a broad and diverse set of competencies that allow you to operate, maintain and test the standardized and highly automated infrastructure services of your squad, and that allow you to automate as much of the operating and maintenance work as possible.

What are you going to do?

You maintain consumable infrastructure services together with your squad and Area.

You are able to move all typical user stories and tasks from "To-Do" to "Done". 

Especially you focus on:

Maintain full infrastructure service to the consumer like:

Maintain consumable standardized infrastructure services (resilient, high quality, highly automated and up-to-date)
Automate all repetitive or error-prone operational activities
Support and educate consumers on using the standardized infrastructure

Apply continuous delivery practices like:

Manage all resources in version-controlled repositories (incl. code, scripts, configurations, artefacts, static resources)
Refactor and reuse existing code/modules/functionality
Write fully automated tests (eg, high availability, load testing, disaster recovery)
Build, enhance and maintain tooling and scripts to automate repetitive or error prone tasks, (eg to automate configuration management and to ensure consistency)

Apply and improve DevOps way of working like:

Implement user stories from backlog as agreed with the Product Owner
Participate rigorously in DevOps rituals (eg daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospective, peer reviews)
Continuously improve yourself, your squad and the service

You should recognize yourself in this profile:

Professional and intellectual IT ability at university level - at least Bachelor's degree
You have an extensive understanding of the full stack, tooling ecosystem, and consumer requirements. With your expertise in multiple coding/Scripting languages and tooling, you contribute to the squad's mission of delivering high-quality consumable services.

Furthermore you have:

Experience with operational activities of TIBCO ENTERPRISE MESSAGE SERVICE (EMS), TIBCO BUSINESSWORKS (BW) AND TIBCO BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT (BPM) COMBINED WITH RED HAT LINUX
Experience with operational activities of TIBCO Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI)
Experience with operational activities of Oracle databases
Experience in Red Hat Linux, Jenkins and GIT
Working knowledge of configuration tools like Puppet, Chef or Ansible
Scripting experience in at least one of the following: Ruby, Python, Bash.
Experience with virtualization environments and tools
