Threat and Vulnerability IT Security Technical Lead - 60-70k+ Bonus

A rapidly growing international financial services organisation is looking to hire an Information Security Threat and Vulnerability Technical Lead to ensure business critical information is kept secure from ever changing and evolving cyber threats. This role is new hire as a result of this growth and associated challenges.

As an 'information security champion' the role will involve identifying vulnerabilities, conducting associated assessments, testing current security controls, driving security frameworks, monitoring and analysing intelligence feeds, effective responses to high level security incidents and associated forensics.

The role is designed for a hands on Technical Subject Matter Expert who will have a strong background in 'vulnerability and threat' and a real underlying interest in the subject. Any academia or qualifications within the information security arena are highly desirable as the team come from a similar background.

Ideal skill set / experiences:

* Application Security Assessments and Penetration Testing - eg Cross-site scripting, parameter manipulation, session hijacking and crypto-analysis.
* Key security protocols and encryption - eg Kerberos, AES, SSL/TLS, HMAC.
* Information Attack Vectors - eg man in the middle, session hijack, spoofing, privilege escalation, code injection
* Ability to work with raw data structures and Database queries/config.
