THE COMPANY

ConSol Partners' client is an international financial institution that is looking for a Threat Intelligence Specialist to be based at their office in Amsterdam.

THE ROLE

The candidate will work as a team member for projects serving the Security Operations Centre. The candidate will have the primary task to participate in a DevOps team and focus on the Ops part. This requires a knowledge of the end-to-end operations in a Security Operations Centre. Deliverables would be a working functionality that supports the SOC for specific goals, translation into defined requirements, and a solution. In this role the candidate is expected to interact with other parties within the organisation to provide support for business goal, requirements and solutions and keeping the systems running.

You will primarily work in a team to improve and setup the best way to keep the systems running in the best optimum way (Ops work) and next to this participate in the change aspect of the SOC TT 002 team to deliver business value by delivering solutions and services to the SOC. Examples of tools used are email authentication (DMARC), Threat Intelligence integration (TIP), Honey Pots and Workflow Management (JIRA).

RESPONSIBILITIES

- At least 3+ years of Security Operations knowledge, with experience working with SOC people, processes and technology design, implementation and operations (run and maintain)
- Good understanding of Security Architecture and systems
- Good understanding of Run activities on Infrastructure and applications
- Good understanding of DevOps way of working
- Knowledge of Threat Intelligence
- Good understanding of programming and Scripting
- General understanding of security technology (Network security, process automation, SIEM, log management)
- General knowledge of DMARC and DNS
- General knowledge of SIEM tooling
- General understanding of Agile Way Of Working
- Good communications skills, ability to reach an agreement on requirements and solutions in communications with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation is a MUST
- Experience in working in projects and Agile Teams.
- Experience in requirements engineering.
- Relevant security certifications
- Needs to work accurate
