Thermal Engineer - Essex - 6 Months

A client based in Essex is looking for a Thermal Engineer. This will be for an initial 6 month contract.
Role:
The candidate will be working on mechanical packages/enclosure for electronics boards and products.
These will be within a thermal environment.
Skills:
*Thermal design and analysis
*Experience with Thermal solutions for electronic products in a range of operating environments.
*Design cost-effective and compact solutions which have excellent thermal transfer characteristics.
*Experience with board-level designs dissipating 60W or more, and using BGA packaged electronic components.
*Familiarity with VPX, VME or CompactPCI bus systems would be beneficial.
*Experience of the thermal and mechanical issues involved in designing for harsh environments such as airborne or ground vehicle mounted equipment would be a significant advantage.
*CF Design for thermal analysis.
